Hurst expands S-Class range with new Apex style and 1,600 colour options

Hurst Doors is continuing to expand its S-Class solid core composite door range with the introduction of the new Composite Apex door style, alongside stable door options, new glazing designs and more than 1,600 RAL colours through its Premium Sprayed service.

The latest additions build on the momentum created since the launch of S-Class in September 2025, further strengthening Hurst’s premium solid core offer and giving installers even greater choice when specifying entrance doors for homeowners.

The new Composite Apex is a highly versatile style designed to suit both traditional properties and more contemporary homes. It is available in three options: Solid, Squarelite and Squarelite Georgian.

Hurst has also introduced new glazing options to complement the Apex style, helping installers create a balanced, design-led finish across a wide range of property types.

The expansion follows the addition of S-Class stable doors, giving installers access to a traditional split-leaf option within the same solid core offering.

Together, the new styles and configurations reflect growing homeowner demand for more personalised entrance doors, with style, colour, glazing and hardware all playing an increasingly important role in the buying process.

“S-Class has been really well received since launch, particularly with installers looking to offer something more premium to their customers,” said Mark Atkinson, Sales Director at Hurst Doors.

“What we’re doing now is building on that momentum by expanding the range. The new Apex style, stable door options and additional glazing designs all give customers more choice, while maintaining the quality and performance that S-Class is known for.

“For installers, it creates more opportunities to differentiate, to upsell and to meet homeowner demand for a door that feels genuinely personal to them.”

The range expansion comes shortly after the launch of Hurst’s Premium Sprayed service for S-Class, which gives installers access to more than 1,600 RAL colours on timber solid core composite doors.

Hurst believes this colour capability sets the range apart from other solid core door manufacturers, giving installers a significant point of difference when selling to design-conscious homeowners.

“Colour continues to play a major role in the decision-making process for homeowners, with customers increasingly looking for entrance doors that complement both the character of the property and current interior trends,” said Hayley Barker, Head of Marketing at Hurst.

“By investing in our own paint facilities, we’ve been able to respond more quickly to trends and provide a more consistent offering across the full Hurst range.”

Each S-Class door is manufactured to order at Hurst’s Yorkshire facility and can be quoted, configured and ordered through Hurst Live.

The latest additions form part of Hurst’s ongoing investment in product development, ensuring its customers have access to a competitive, future-ready entrance door range that aligns with changing market demands.
