Hurst expands Composite Collection with new SBD fanlight and sidelight options

Hurst has expanded its Composite Collection with the introduction of Secured by Design (SBD) accredited fanlights and sidelights, giving installers greater choice when working on projects with specific security requirements.

The new options mean that where Secured by Design is specified, installers can now order accredited fanlights and sidelights alongside their Hurst SBD composite door, providing greater flexibility for properties with wider or larger entranceways.

The addition is particularly relevant for new-build developments and social housing, where Secured by Design requirements are more commonly specified and entrance designs can incorporate glazed panels alongside or above the door.

Mark Atkinson, Sales Director at Hurst, said: “For installers working on new-build projects on social housing schemes, meeting the specification is obviously essential. Where Secured by Design is required, they can now come to Hurst for the fanlights and sidelights they need alongside the composite door.

“It gives our customers greater flexibility and makes it easier for them to meet the requirements of individual projects, without having to source these additional elements elsewhere.”

Available as part of Hurst’s Composite Collection, the SBD accredited fanlight and sidelight options can be used to create larger, brighter entranceways while maintaining the required level of security.

The latest addition further strengthens Hurst’s Composite Collection, which offers an extensive choice of traditional and contemporary door styles, glazing designs, colours and hardware options to suit a wide range of property styles.
