Kubu Equipped Door Lock
Most composite doors in the S-Class range specified with lever/lever or lever/pad handles are supplied with a Kubu-equipped multi-point locking system as standard. Designed to work with integrated smart technology, this high-performance composite door lock features the UK’s largest hooks and a 25mm centre deadbolt, delivering greater compression and enhanced security when the door is closely.
For smooth, precise operation, the hooks engage when the handle level – positioned midway on the door – is lifted. The door can then be locked or unlocked with a simple turn of the key. Fully compliant with PAS 24 standards, the Kubu lock is backed by a 10-year mechanical warranty and a £2,000 security guarantee.
Kubu Equipped Slam Lock
The Avantis AutoSlam Lock is a high-performance, PAS 24-tested multi-point locking system, typically paired with contemporary ‘Pull’ handles. Its mechanical self-locking design secures the door automatically the moment it closes. Two automatic deadbolts engage instantly, each projecting 25mm into the frame to provide exceptional resistance against forced entry.
From inside, the deadbolts can be retracted and the door opened using a thumb turn, key, or handle. from outside, they are released via a centrally positioned key. The lock is also compatible with Kubu smart technology, enabling homeowners to check their door’s status in real time through a smartphone app.
Heritage Slam Lock
The Heritage Slam Lock delivers a traditional door appearance while offering modern security and convenience. Operating in a similar way to the standard Slam Lock, it features three automatic latchbolts and a lock positioned two-thirds up the door for a classic look. When the door closes, the top and two lower latches engage to keep automatically, converting into secure deadbolts. The Heritage Slam Lock is also compatible with Kubu smart technology, allowing homeowners to monitor their door’s status in real time via a smartphone app.

Standard Cylinder
All S-Class composite doors come fitted as standard with a Kitemarked euro cylinder paired with a robust cylinder guard to provide a 3-star security solution. Manufactured from hardened steel, this combination is engineered to protect against drilling, picking, twisting, and bumping attacks, offering reliable protection and long-lasting performance.
ABS Master Euro Cylinder Option 
Designed to protect your home against all common break-in methods, the ABS Master is a high-security 3-star Diamond-grade euro cylinder from Avocet. Featuring patented anti-snap technology, the ABS Master is engineered to defend against cylinder snapping which is one of the most common forms of forced entry.
If the cylinder is attacked, the ABS Master is designed to sacrificially break on the outside of the door, while a reinforced internal cam and intelligent break points continue to protect the locking mechanism inside. This prevents access to the door bolt and keeps your home secure, even if the external section is damaged. The cylinder also provides resistance to drilling, picking, bumping and other common attack methods.
For added reassurance, the ABS Master is supplied with a £2,000 homeowner guarantee*. In the unlikely event that a burglar gains entry by snapping the ABS Master cylinder, Avocet will pay up to £2,000* in compensation to the homeowner.
